Privacy Policy — Hold it Steady

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how "Hold it Steady" (the "Game"), developed by LEVELSTAIR ("LEVELSTAIR", "we", "us", or "our"), handles data when you download and play the Game on Android via Google Play.

Hold it Steady does not require an account, does not collect personal information you provide directly, and does not offer in-app purchases or multiplayer features. The only data processing associated with the Game relates to the advertising SDK used to display ads, described in full below.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Data Collected Directly by LEVELSTAIR

None. Hold it Steady has no account system, no sign-up forms, and no in-game data collection or telemetry operated by LEVELSTAIR. LEVELSTAIR does not receive, view, or store any personal information from players through the Game itself.

2.2 Data Collected via Google AdMob

Hold it Steady uses Google AdMob to display in-game advertising. To serve, measure, and prevent fraud on ads, AdMob (operated by Google LLC) automatically collects and processes the following on our behalf:

Advertising ID (a resettable device identifier)
IP address and IP-derived approximate location
Device information (device model, operating system version, language, screen settings)
App activity related to ad requests and interactions (impressions, clicks, and ad performance data)

This data is collected and processed directly by Google under Google's own privacy policy, not stored on servers operated by LEVELSTAIR. Google's handling of this data is governed by theGoogle Privacy Policyandhow Google uses data when you use partners' sites or apps.

3. Why This Data Is Processed

The data described in Section 2.2 is processed solely to:

Serve and personalize in-game advertisements;
Measure ad performance and prevent invalid traffic or ad fraud;
Limit how often the same ad is shown to a given device (frequency capping).

LEVELSTAIR does not use this data for any purpose beyond operating advertising in the Game, and does not combine it with any other personal data because LEVELSTAIR collects none.

5. Your Choices

You can reset or delete your device's Advertising ID at any time viaAndroid Settings > Privacy > Ads (path varies by Android version).
You can opt out of personalized advertising throughGoogle Ads Settings.
Uninstalling the Game stops all further data collection associated with it.

6. Children's Privacy

Hold it Steady is designed for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. LEVELSTAIR does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information in connection with the Game, contact privacy@levelstair.com and we will investigate and take appropriate action.

7. Data Retention & Security

Because LEVELSTAIR does not operate its own data collection for this Game, data described in Section 2.2 is retained and secured entirely under Google's own retention and security practices as the operator of the AdMob SDK. LEVELSTAIR holds no copy of this data and cannot access, export, or delete it on Google's systems on a player's behalf; such requests should be directed to Google via the links in Section 5.

8. Changes to This Policy

If Hold it Steady adds new features that change how data is collected or processed (for example, an account system, analytics, or in-app purchases), this Policy will be updated accordingly and the effective date revised. Continued use of the Game after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
